Corbin Russwin announces a redesign of the Princeton lever for use with ANSI/ BHMA Grade 1 CL3300 cylindrical locks. The redesigned Princeton lever is made from the same solid die cast zinc as the current Princeton lever, and can retrofit to existing CL3300 cylindrical lock installations. A distinct advantage of the redesigned Princeton lever is that it looks the same as the Corbin Russwin ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 CL3500 and Grade 2 CL3800 Princeton lever. Buildings can have a consistent design aesthetic from a main entrance to an office to a stairwell without compromising the security needs of each door opening.
Benefits of the Redesigned Princeton Lever:
Hager has recently added a 3/4” latch for use with cylindrical locksets.
In general, single point locks or latches with 3/4” minimum latch throw are intended for the active door of doors mounted in pairs and the inactive door provided with top and bottom flush or surface bolts.
Some manufacturers can provide fire doors mounted in pairs with a minimum latch throw less than 3/4”. The door classification specifies the minimum latch throw required for the individual door.
Pemko Continuous Hinge SER Modules are now supplied with Micro Fit 3.0 Molex connectors. December 1, 2009 The new DORMOTION system from DORMA Glass provides assisted closing and comfortable cushioning of interior glass doors in commercial and residential settings. When integrated into DORMA’s AGILE 150 sliding door system, DORMOTION hardware gently decelerates, assists and smoothly draws the sliding panel to its end position as it travels on the roller assembly. The action resembles the spring-aided, self-drawing action of kitchen drawers. The system also provides leading-edge cushioning of door movement at the limits of travel, preventing harsh end stops that could damage the door or hardware.
