How fast will my purchase be shipped to me?

Most items ship within 72 hours by FedEx or UPS standard ground shipping. A Strongbar representative will contact you to confirm your purchase and arrange for shipping. Under certain circumstances, availability is sometimes affected by suppliers that are beyond the control of Strongbar Industries. If faster shipping is required, please inform the Strongbar representative that you need your items sooner. Additional shipping fees may apply.

How do I remove items from my shopping cart?

Click the Delete button that appears to the left of any item in your cart.

How do I add multiple quantities of an item to my shopping cart?

Change the number in the Qty. box and click the Update button at the bottom of the cart. Please note that quantity discounts will not be applied unless you are logged in as a Strongbar.com member or you submit a quote request.

Can I wait until later to purchase some of the items in my shopping cart?

Yes. Click the Save for later button that appears to the left of any item in your Shopping Cart. This will move the title below the cart, to a list of saved items that you may buy in the future. Click the Move to Cart button next to an item when you are ready to purchase it. Please note that we cannot guarantee that the item will still be for sale when you are ready to buy it. Items in your Shopping Cart will always reflect the most recent price displayed on the item's product detail page. Please note that this price may differ from the price the item held when you first placed it in your cart.

Yes! Strongbar Industries knows how difficult it can be to find replacement parts for products like Locking Devices, Locks and Hardware. Strongbar keeps a large inventory or replacement parts for various manufacturers and if Strongbar doesn’t have it, they’ll find it for you.

Strongbar’s project management team is capable of managing any size or portion of detention project. Strongbar Industries also provides Security Systems Evaluations, where complete inspection of all detention-related components will be evaluated and reported.

Does Strongbar provide Installation, Retrofit and Maintenance Services?

Absolutely. Strongbar’s team of service contractors can help install or get your system working again. Need your old system removed? No problem. The Strongbar team can oversee the complete removal of old equipment and complete installation of new frames, doors, hinges, windows, locks, pulls, closures, etc. Strongbar also provides routine maintenance plans to prevent breakdowns, keep your systems performing well and keep your operation safe and secure.

Can Strongbar Re-Key or Replace Lost Keys?

Strongbar Industries can replace lost keys and re-key Paracentric, Mogul and Builders Hardware locks, such as ASSA and Medco. Strongbar can also replace cylinders and tumblers for most applications.

What is Detention Equipment?

Detention Equipment are products that are intended to provide high-degrees of physical security and life safety protection to officers and inmates in correctional institutions. Detention Equipment provides protection from fires, attacks, ballistics, or any combination of these and threats.

What makes Detention-grade products different from commercial products?

Detention equipment differs from all other products in terms of materials used, production methods, testing methods and applications. For example, Detention-grade doors and frames contain thicker steel and are constructed with features like truss-core "Hat" sections, closed tops and bottoms and welded and filled seams. In addition, various levels of detention grade doors and frames must meet specific tests before being sold. Tests include Door Assembly Impact Load Tests, Sidelight and Multi-Light Impact Tests, Door Static Load Tests, Door Rack Tests, Door Edge Crush Tests and Bullet Resistance Tests.
